A landmark MoU was signed with the Directorate of Watershed and Soil Conservation, Rajasthan, in the presence of Hon’ble Minister Shri Madan Dilawar, marking a step forward in scalable, system-driven climate solutions that secure water, restore ecosystems, and place communities at the centre of resilience.
In collaboration with A.T.E. Chandra Foundation (ATECF), the initiative will implement machine-led rejuvenation of community water bodies under the Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan (MJSA), reducing government expenditure by nearly 50% while enhancing local ownership.
Over three years, the programme will engage 160 district officials, 500 block officials, and 600 Gram Panchayat watershed committees, alongside 500 youth champions and 150 water stewards, delivering capacity-building, expert sessions, and exposure visits to ensure sustainable adoption.
Customized field models, documentation, and knowledge products will support scaling under MJSA 2, PMKSY, and related schemes, positioning Rajasthan as a leader in cost-effective, community-driven climate action.
The milestone was made possible through the guidance and support of Shri Madan Dilawar, Amrtha Kasturi Rangan (ATECF), and Sangeeta Mamgain (Piramal Foundation), reflecting a shared vision for resilient ecosystems and empowered communities.
