Seth G.S. Medical College & King Edward Memorial Hospital collaborate with Piramal Foundation as a Knowledge Partner to enhance healthcare
Piramal Foundation, in collaboration with Seth G.S. Medical College, King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEM), and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), has initiated a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to address healthcare needs in aspirational districts of Maharashtra. The focus is on improving the well-being of 28 lakh tribal residents, starting in Palghar district, with plans for expansion. Dr. Swati Piramal, Chairperson, Piramal Group commented, “Through a formal partnership, we aim to enhance healthcare services and demonstrate our dedication to creating a positive impact, while remaining true to our core philosophy of 'Doing well and doing good.'

Piramal Pharma Limited event to renew the vow of Sewa Bhaav
Driving the purpose of "Doing Well, Doing Good" the Piramal Pharma Limited(PPL) event held on November 28 at PLU Kurla, Mumbai, witnessed active participation of 32 PPL leaders (Band 5 and above). The event focused on fostering a connection with PPL's core purpose of "Sewa Bhav" through meaningful volunteering. Themed on Water Conservation and Sustainability, the six exhibition stalls showcased initiatives like PSL, THC, DBC, ABC- Water, ABC- Health, and ABC- Education. The leader-led approach, with senior leaders actively engaging, underscored a commitment to societal change. Participants were encouraged to contribute time and expertise, emphasizing a long-term association with carefully selected causes. The strategic emphasis on water-related interventions and sustainability reflects PPL's dedication to addressing critical issues, setting a positive tone for future purpose-driven initiatives.

Conclave of traditional knowledge systems
Piramal Foundation along with USAID India conducted the Indigenous Knowledge Systems & Self-Determined Development', a day-long learning conclave on 23rd August to celebrate traditional knowledge systems in Delhi. Veena Reddy, USAID Mission Director to India stated, “Impressed by the vision and passion of prominent representatives from indigenous communities who are promoting local leadership and self-determined development in India. Took away several lessons for decentralizing our approach and engaging local communities more directly”.
