Bringing scholarship awareness to the heart of the community

The district festival Mondei–2025 in Nabarangpur, Odisha, served as a key platform to engage communities around culture, public schemes, and education. With visitors from across the district and nearby areas, the festival enabled direct outreach to families and students.

A dedicated stall highlighted ongoing district work with a focused emphasis on the Pre-Matric Scholarship. To make information simple and actionable, a Pre-Matric Scholarship Awareness Calendar for 2026 was introduced, offering a clear guide on eligibility, application timelines, process, and available financial support.

The calendar was inaugurated by Shri Nityananda Gond, Hon’ble Minister for School & Mass Education; ST & SC Development; Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare; Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of Odisha, reinforcing the importance of timely and accessible information on educational support.

By improving awareness—especially among SC, ST, and other backward communities—the initiative aims to ease education-related financial pressures and support uninterrupted schooling for students.
